Don’t miss a special Broadway tribute on Saturday, August 2, 4:15 p.m. at Howard and Vivian Stotland’s dock on Baie Perrault.

This year’s event will include a private concert showcasing some of your favourite Broadway tunes, with Nick Burgess on keys and Geneviève Leclerc on vocals, with participation from Corina Vincelli.

Nick Burgess

Nick Burgess trained at McGill University in Montréal, Quebec, and the Royal College of Music in England. With nearly 30 years of experience in the entertainment industry, his diverse musical expertise has led him to perform across Canada, the U.S., and Europe.

 

As a music director, Nick has worked on over 75 productions, with credits including the French and Canadian premieres of Titanique (Théâtre Lido de Paris and Segal Centre/Mirvish Productions) and countless other musicals at the Segal Centre including April Fools, The Times They Are A-Changin’, Mythic, Indecent, It Shoulda Been You, The Producers, Soul Doctor, Guys and Dolls, and The Pirates Of Penzance. 

 

He has also served as associate music director and played keys in the bands of The Hockey Sweater (National Arts Centre/Segal Centre) and Prom Queen, Funny Girl, and The Apprenticeship of Duddy Kravitz (Segal Centre).

 

Nick has been a dedicated music educator for two decades, and his popular Big Broadway Singalong events, featuring a vast repertoire spanning over 180 musicals, engage audiences in an interactive celebration of show tunes.

Geneviève Leclerc

Geneviève Leclerc is a Quebec singer and performer who rose to fame on La Voix. Trained in musical theatre, she performed in Les Misérables on the Broadway National Tour. With six albums released, she has shared the stage with Michel Legrand, Lara Fabian, Mario Pelchat, Marc Dupré, and more. She is passionate about musical theatre and French chanson. 

Corina Vincelli

Corina is honoured to be a guest performer at this year’s Broadway sur le Deck. Having released her first album in 2023, she is very excited to continue to share her music with the public. With a bachelor’s degree in classical voice from the Université de Montréal, Corina has been competing in voice and piano since the age of 8. She has pursued musical theatre since she was a teen and has been teaching music since 2008. Over the years, music has led her to various projects as musical director and conductor. Some of her favourite artists include Sara Bareilles, Carole King, Cyndi Lauper and especially Burt Bacharach.
