The Municipality of Ivry-sur-le-Lac invites you to a day filled with activities focused on protecting our lakes and natural areas. The program focuses on concrete actions all of us can take to preserve and protect our local environment.

This is the first edition of an annual event highlighting environmental issues and encouraging sustainable, eco-responsible practices

ACTIVITIES WILL INCLUDE:

• Educational workshops

• Special guest speaker on developing and maintaining a  healthy riparian strip

• Tree seedlings give-away (limited quantity)

• Advice on planting in natural spaces

• Septic tank best practices

• Impact of fertilizers and pesticides

• Invasive species control

• Responsible boating practices

The day’s goal is to raise awareness and educate citizens to ensure the protection of our environment.
