We have been advised that a child was bitten by a deer tick near Lake Brulé on the June 24th holiday weekend. The tick was taken to Sainte Agathe and identified as a deer tick. Subsequent tests showed that this tick carried Lyme Disease. It is not known at this point whether the disease was transmitted to the child. Here is a link to our website, which contains more specific information on this subject from Health Canada. http://www.ivry-sur-le-lac.qc.ca/upload/document/INFORMATION%20ON%20LYME%20DISEASE%20AND%20TICK%20BITES.pdf
Welcome to the new AALM Website
Welcome to our newly constructed website. Our goals are to inform, archive, and provide services to all members of the lake association. This site is currently a work in progress and with your input we hope it will continue to evolve over time. Anyone interested in contributing text, images, history or stories to the website please email us info@aalm.ca. As part of the site we are also looking for beautiful photographs to complete the website.
We are also pleased to introduce an online payment option as a convenient and secure way to pay your annual dues. This is currently active for the 2013 season! Have a great summer, hope to see everyone at the AGM on July 20th, 2013 at Ivry town hall.
